| FOOD |
| TFS has a couple of foods suitable for hedgehogs. We would recommend mixing a box of the 8 in 1 hedgehog diet with a bag of the One Earth Naturals Senior cat food.
This would do quite nicely as a standard hedgehog diet.

| CAGING |
| Your hedgehog will need a solid floor cage, also, we don't feel a multi-level cage is the best for a hedgehog.
At TFS we recommend the Super Pet - My First Home series as a decent quality home for your hedgehog. Please pick the cage with the most ground level floor space that you can afford.

| BEDDING |
| TFS carries a couple of products that work well for hedgehog bedding. Shredded Aspen and the Kay-Tee wood pellet bedding.
Either choice will work well, the pellet bedding is nice for it's absorbent qualities, but the Aspen is more economical.

| CAGE ACCESSORIES |
| For water, we prefer 8oz plastic bottles. TFS carries Lixit Best Buy plastic bottles which are economical, and work just fine.
For food we use a 3 inch stoneware or porcelain crock, which will work for a water bowl if your hedgehog will not use a bottle.
TFS also carries the giant sized (12 inch) Super Pet Comfort Wheels and also the Silent Spinners. We recommend either as an excersize wheel for your hedgehog.
They also carry the large Super Pet Igloos that we prefer since they are easy to clean and look good. They also have a good selection of cat and ferret toy balls that will work well as hedgehog toys.

| MAINTENANCE |
| TFS carries the Millers Forge Cat Claw Clippers which work very well on hedgehog nails. (human nail clippers can work just as good)
For a Shampoo, please pick a tearless variety, we cannot recommend a shampoo from TFS as we have no experience with thier shampoo brands. If you can find it, we like the Lambert Kay colloidal oatmeal dog shampoo, it moistens and cleans very well.
