Early handfeeding1977 viewsHere you can see one of the major problems with handfeeding: Even the smallest of tubes is very large compared to their mouth. We've had good luck with the disposable pipettes from science supply stores. Others have used the tapered irrigation syrenges or very small normal ones. In this picture I am encouraging the baby to open it's mouth by gently stroking under the jaw.
